Solid foundations for digital business
Quality Service is a secondment company with more than 120 construction professionals. They provide large and small sites with qualified workers, always with a view to safety and humanity.
The Project
Quality Service managed to grow its expert pool enormously in a short period of time. For example, they may be able to provide more construction companies and shipyards with skilled workers, but the resulting administration now has many more feet in the earth. The Quality Service team was buried in the work. That's why they sought help from Unikoo. We were happy to take over the ground works and laid the foundations for efficient digital administration.
Oiled invoice management thanks to appropriate digital tools
First, we addressed the incoming invoices: we introduced Billit, an online billing and payment platform that meets all the needs of Quality Service. This way, they can keep track of all invoices within the platform, sort them and pay them in one fell swoop - a huge time saver.
But with 120 professionals who will be working on assignment at various companies and using materials, it is mainly the outgoing invoices that take a lot of time. Time investments and the use of materials vary enormously, so standardization is out of the question. A first major challenge was time registration. For Quality Service, we looked for a suitable tool that records working hours via the location of the van. We also plan to integrate this tool with the Teamleader billing program. This way, Quality Service can easily review invoices created automatically and send them with one click.
Good planning is half the work
Another stumbling block in Quality Service's administration is scheduling workers. They previously arranged this in Excel, but the company's enormous growth made this unsustainable and, in addition, there was no one else besides the manager who could manage it. After an extensive search, we couldn't find a tool that meets all the diverse requirements of Quality Service, so we built a customized visualization in Monday. Thanks to this simplified view, they can easily keep track of the schedule of the sites and adjust the work schedules with just a few clicks.
No digital business without a website
In 2022, as a company, you cannot stay offline, especially if you focus on digitization. That's why our developers and marketers joined forces and built a brand new one for Quality Service website. We organized a drone and photo shoot for striking images, interviewed the manager to provide the website with strong texts and designed the whole thing in Webflow. In addition, we taught the customer how they can easily add content, such as references or vacancies, to their website themselves.
Through various tools and a few customized solutions, we laid the foundations for digital business operations for Quality Service. Not only is their billing and planning a lot easier now, we also gave the company a face online with a user-friendly new website.
