Ebema
A long-term partnership that you can build on.
Since its inception in 1946, Ebema has been at the forefront of improving outdoor spaces with visionary ideas and elegant concrete solutions. The company is committed to creating outdoor spaces that are cozier, smarter, more comfortable, safer, more beautiful, greener, and stronger. With three branches, a team of around 250 employees and an annual turnover of around 60 million euros, Ebema continues to grow. The product range is divided into two segments: Ebema_LivingCity for the public market and Ebema_Stone&Style for garden, patio and driveway solutions, and recently also for facing bricks.
The Project
In their pursuit of continuous innovation, Ebema, led by marketing manager Herwig Dessers, has formed a partnership with Unikoo to strengthen their marketing efforts through a flexible and dynamic “marketingas-a-service” (MaaS) model. This model is specifically designed to enrich Ebema's existing team with the specialized expertise of Unikoo's consultants, seamlessly scaling up or adapting services to the company's changing needs. This strategic integration provides a powerful combination of internal knowledge and external innovation, allowing Ebema to more effectively realize its vision of transforming outdoor spaces.
Building the foundation
Although this collaboration is now running like a well-oiled machine, it did not happen overnight. As is so often the case, it grew organically from a modest starting point. In the most embryonic phase, in January 2022, Marketing Consultant started in the role of temporary segment manager for Stone&Style, awaiting a definitive implementation. In that initial phase, important steps were taken such as:
- Email marketing: send 201 mailings to various target groups with a clearly defined tone of voice.
- Copywriting: Significantly improving Ebema's communication and design.
- Marketing plan: Together with colleagues, develop a detailed marketing plan for the garden segment.
- Brochure upgrades: Transforming a product brochure into an inspiring visual viewing book about water management.
- Campaign Management: Lead and Manage the “Concrete with Class” Campaign.
- Digital rebranding: Managing Eurodal's digital rebranding process in the right direction.
A double whopper
When a new business unit was set up in 2023, entirely dedicated to facing bricks, a second Marketing Consultant was brought on board to manage the launch and marketing coordination. A selection of the marketing activities:
- Website optimization: Improving website content and user experience.
- Texture generator: Contribute to the design of a tool for personalizing façade designs.
- Project management: Coordinating online and offline marketing activities.
- Marketing support: Social media support, copywriting and creating promotional materials.
Towards a third phase in cooperation
In 2024, Ebema decided to focus more on online marketing, which led to the addition of one of our Performance Marketeers to the team. Together with our Marketing Consultant, who had now grown from segment manager to online expert, and Lieve, Ebema's internal digital strategist, they worked on:
- Online ads: Managing campaigns across digital platforms.
- Dashboarding: Developing a performance marketing dashboard for improved reporting.
- Analysis and reporting: Continuous monitoring and optimization of marketing strategies.
- SEO: Setting up content clusters based on search behavior to rank high for relevant topics in the concrete industry.
- Content creation: Writing texts, designing flyers, creating visuals for social media ads, producing videos, and designing wireframes for conversion pages.
- Event communication & email marketing: Use all online channels to promote events, including email marketing, to reach the right target groups.
